The new Bluetooth technology is simply a wireless method for making a network out of your own Bluetooth devices. It has a range of 10 metres [30 feet] and with a speed that is comparable to USB. Headsets An obvious advantage in turning to a Bluetooth style headset is the wireless aspect. Being wireless devices, they are powered by their own batteries. This is a large advantage to PDA users since the GPS is not being an additional load on an already power hungry PDA. A large advantage of a Bluetooth type of GPS system is the portability. You can set your receiver anywhere you can receive a better reception

Vodafone UK (LSE: VOD) and BT (LSE: BT) announced anew managed network solutions agreement that will see BT Wholesale provide and manage high speed connectivity between Vodafone's UK base stations and its core national network. Under the terms of the five-year agreement, BT will deliver a cost-efficient and flexible solution that enables Vodafone UK to manage the predicted growth in traffic and bandwidth requirements from its range of new bandwidth-intensive mobile applications.
